Mr Putin and Mr Bush exchanged views on practical aspects of preparations for the international meeting on the Middle East peace process due to take place at the end of November in the U.S. city of Annapolis.
The two Presidents also continued their discussions of current strategic issues begun during their telephone conversation on October 22, 2007.
The conversation took place on the United States’ initiative.
