The situation in the labour market and measures to tackle unemployment were the subjects of discussion. During yesterday's working meeting, Minister of Health and Social Development Tatyana Golikova identified a number of regions that are not fully working to promote employment among those who have lost their jobs. Dmitry Medvedev instructed Konstantin Chuychenko to monitor the implementation of regional employment programmes.
The President also instructed the head of the Presidential Control Directorate to monitor work designed to provide war veterans with housing.
