Vladimir Putin discussed the subject of Syria in a telephone conversation with King of Saudi Arabia Salman bin Abdulaziz al-Saud.

Mr Putin informed the King of Saudi Arabia on the results of a visit by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Russia the previous day.
