Vladimir Putin held talks with Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe in Vladivostok.
Vladimir Putin and Shinzo Abe discussed topical bilateral matters, in particular economic, humanitarian, and military cooperation.
Following the international consultations, a package of bilateral documents was signed, including documents on satellite communications, joint investment, financial cooperation, construction of a polymer plant, and implementation of a project to set up a chemical cluster in Russia.
After the meeting Vladimir Putin and Shinzo Abe made press statements.
Before the talks, the Russian President and the Japanese Prime Minister attended a ceremony to launch an engine assembly line for Mazda cars.
