Vladimir Putin visited the Kyzyl Presidential Cadet School, where he toured the classrooms and engaged in conversation with the students. He was accompanied by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District Anatoly Seryshev and Head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg. Uran-kys Ondar, the head of the school, provided additional insights during the visit.
The school, which opened in 2014, offers programmes for basic and secondary general education. There are 380 children studying there (300 boys and 80 girls), with a teaching staff of 132 people. The cadets receive mandatory military training, participate in sports activities, and engage in additional programmes, such as engineering and technical studies, language learning, martial arts, as well as art and etiquette classes.
