Concluding his working trip to the Ural Federal District, Vladimir Putin visited the Prityazhenie (Attraction) year-round urban resort, where he inspected the park’s scale model and the world’s largest musical fountain, The Steel Heart of the Motherland.
The President was accompanied by Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Ural Federal District Artyom Zhoga, Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works Viktor Rashnikov. Explanations were provided by MMK Deputy General Director Alexei Zhloba.
The 400-hectare park operates year-round. It combines educational, museum, public, sports and hotel complexes. The facilities include catering establishments, children’s playgrounds, a lake with a beach area, an embankment and boulevards.
The project implementation period spans from 2020 to 2027. The first phase of the park opened in 2022. Since its inauguration, the resort has welcomed over 6 million visitors.
