Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
The meeting participants discussed current domestic policy matters and main foreign policy issues, including the subjects that will be on the agenda at the Russia-EU summit that begins later today.
Taking part in the meeting were Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, and the heads of law enforcement and security agencies.
