Participants noted that today the development of the Great Volga Route is very important and that the solutions to issues discussed by the working group directly affect the socio-economic situation in the Volga regions.

Twelve regions, organisations and the initiator of the Great Volga Route project – the Astrakhan Region – offered proposals to be considered by the State Council Presidium session.
