Svetlana Medvedeva accompanied Dmitry Medvedev on the President of Russia’s state visit to the Republic of Armenia.

Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan attended the opening ceremony of the Hill of Honour Memorial in northern Armenia.

Dmitry Medvedev and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan held talks in Yerevan. A number of agreements were signed, including on extending Russia’s right to station a military base in Armenia, and on construction of nuclear power plant units.

The President of Russia laid a wreath at the Memorial to the victims of the 1915 Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire.

The President of Armenia expressed solidarity and sympathy to the friendly Russian people following the nation’s major natural disasters.

Dmitry Medvedev and President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan took part in the ceremony of signing a Cooperation Programme between St Petersburg State University and Yerevan State University.

Dmitry Medvedev met with President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Dmitry Medvedev and Serzh Sargsyan discussed current bilateral cooperation issues.

The two leaders discussed current issues on the international and regional agenda, among other topics.

Following tradition, the presentation ceremony took place in the Grand Kremlin Palace’s St Alexander Hall.
