Vladimir Putin met with the new chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan.

Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan discussed key topics in Russian-Armenian cooperation, prospects for developing integration processes in Eurasia and Nagorno Karabakh settlement.

Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Protocol on Certain Issues Concerning the Import and Circulation of Goods in the Eurasian Economic Union Customs Territory.

Vladimir Putin submitted Protocol on Several Issues Concerning the Import and Circulation of Goods in the Eurasian Economic Union Customs Territory, signed in Burabai, Republic of Kazakhstan, on October 16, 2015, to the State Duma for ratification.

The President submitted the Treaty on the Kyrgyz Republic’s Accession to the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty of May 29, 2014, signed in Moscow on December 23, 2014, and other documents pertaining to Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union to the State Duma for ratification.

Vladimir Putin met with President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum. The two leaders discussed current issues in bilateral cooperation and Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union.

A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) was held at the level of the heads of state. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev also participated in the summit.

After the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Astana, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union.
