Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Security Council members. Current domestic socio-economic issues, as well as international matters were discussed.
In particular, Security Council members discussed the economic situation in the Eurozone, specifically the Cyprus crisis, and the results of the previous day’s Russian-Chinese summit.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Speaker of the Council of Federation Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the State Duma Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Federal Security Service Director Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Mikhail Fradkov, Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev, and permanent member of the Security Council Boris Gryzlov.
