Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
The meeting participants discussed the preparations for the Russia-ASEAN Summit, which will take place later this week.
They also exchanged views on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution efforts in the context of yesterday’s meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Vienna.
In addition, they continued the discussion started at the State Council meeting earlier today about developing the construction sector and improving urban planning and the mortgage system.
A number of other issues on the domestic agenda were also touched upon.
The meeting was attended by State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Head of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Mikhail Fradkov, and Deputy Secretary of the Security Council Rashid Nurgaliyev.
