Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council. The participants focused on the US unilateral withdrawal from the Treaty on the Elimination of Intermediate-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles.
The participants also discussed subjects related to disaster relief in Siberia and the Irkutsk Region, and current topics concerning the socio-economic agenda.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin.
