The President will see a presentation of the new inter-agency defence procurement financial system developed by the Defence Ministry.

The Defence Ministry is keeping the President updated on the rescue work in Omsk, where a building partially collapsed at the paratroopers’ training centre. The Defence Ministry has been instructed to ensure all necessary medical aid for those injured in the accident.

A reception in honour of graduates of military academies was held at the Kremlin. This year graduates from the Defence Ministry’s academies were joined at the event by graduates from the academies run by the Interior Ministry, Emergency Situations Ministry, Federal Security Service, and Federal Guard Service, and, for the first time, from institutions run by the Justice Ministry.

Vladimir Putin took part in the opening ceremony of the International Military-Technical Forum ARMY-2015 in Kubinka.
