Dmitry Medvedev sent his congratulations to President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Independence Day, Tajikistan’s national holiday.

Russian-Tajikistani talks on bilateral economic, trade, military technical and humanitarian cooperation have taken place in Dushanbe. Issues on the regional and international agendas were also discussed.

Cooperation between Russia and Tajikistan in various domains, as well as mutual assistance following natural disasters were the subjects of discussion.
