Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Natural Disasters Relief Vladimir Puchkov.

Vladimir Putin was briefed by Samara Region Governor Nikolai Merkushkin, Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, and Health Minister Veronika Skvortsova on the situation with the explosions at the munitions depot and test ground near Chapayevsk in Samara Region.

Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov and Tula Region Governor Vladimir Gruzdev reported to Vladimir Putin on the impact of the tornado that struck the region, the measures taken to assist the public and disaster relief efforts.

Vladimir Putin had a number of telephone conversations this morning with Plenipotentiary Presidential Envoy to the Central Federal District Alexander Beglov, and Governor of Rostov Region Vasily Golubev.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Minister of Civil Defence, Emergencies and Natural Disasters Relief Vladimir Puchkov.

Vladimir Putin instructed Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov to fly immediately to the Vorkutinskaya coal mine, following the explosion there, to take the emergency response measures and oversee the rescue operations. 

Vladimir Putin held a meeting with representatives of federal agencies and the Krasnodar Territory officials on the implementation of instructions on disaster relief following heavy floods in Krymsk in July 2012. In addition, the meeting participants discussed measures to protect the Krymsk county, Krasnodar Territory, from natural disasters.

Vladimir Putin held a conference call on reconstruction work in Krymsk and other communities in the Kuban area affected by the floods.
