Vladimir Putin held a meeting on measures to fulfil the potential of Russia's agricultural industry.

Vladimir Putin met with Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev to review the sowing and harvesting campaigns.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Rosselkhozbank Management Board Chairman Dmitry Patrushev, who informed the President about the Bank’s 2017 performance and long-term projects to support the agro-industrial complex.

Mr Patrushev briefed Vladimir Putin on the bank’s results for 2016, in particular, with regard to lending to the agribusiness sector and small and medium-sized enterprises. Other matters discussed included the situation on the agricultural risk insurance market.

The President signed an executive order on measures to implement government scientific and technical policy on agricultural development.
