Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation for Supporting Combat Veterans – Participants in the Special Military Operation and Their Family Members.
The Commission has been established to strengthen coordination among federal and regional executive authorities, the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation, and other organisations.
Governor of the Astrakhan Region Igor Babushkin has been appointed chairman of the Commission.
