The latest World Cup downhill race kicked off in Krasnaya Polyana. The race is a test and is being held at the Rosa Khutor Alpine Ski Resort that will stage the 2014 Olympics.
Dmitry Medvedev watched the race together with Deputy Prime Minister and President of Russian Olympic Committee Alexander Zhukov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy Vitaly Mutko, Presidential Aide Arkady Dvorkovich, and other spectators.
Following the competition President Medvedev awarded prizes to winners.
