A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council took place in the Kremlin.
Vladimir Putin, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev had a narrow format meeting to discuss the main areas of integration between the three states and the progress in forming the Eurasian Economic Union.
President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, and Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov joined the meeting later. The parties discussed the accession of Kyrgyzstan and Armenia to the Eurasian integration project.
A package of documents was signed in the course of the meeting. In particular, the participants approved the roadmap for the accession of Armenia to the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space.
Vladimir Putin, Alexander Lukashenko and Nursultan Nazarbaev made statements to the press.
