Laying wreath at Tomb of Unknown Soldier

After the military parade on Red Square, Vladimir Putin laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden

The ceremony was attended by President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, Great Patriotic War veterans, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Acting Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and President of the Constitutional Court Valery Zorkin.

A minute of silence was observed to honour the fallen. The ceremony concluded with the national anthems of Russia, Serbia and Israel, and a march-past of the Company of the Guards of Honour.

Vladimir Putin, Aleksandar Vucic and Benjamin Netanyahu also laid flowers at obelisks to hero cities and the memorial to cities of military glory.
