Vladimir Putin held, via videoconference, a meeting on current issues with permanent members of the Security Council.
The discussion focused on internal security measures during major socio-political events. Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Federal Security Service, presented a report on the subject.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Sergei Shoigu, Defence Minister Andrei Belousov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, and Presidential Aide Nikolai Patrushev.
