Vladimir Putin held a briefing session with permanent Security Council members.
Along with issues on the domestic economic agenda, participants had a detailed exchange of opinions on the fight against terrorism, including in the context of the upcoming discussions within the G20 summit in Antalya and the contacts planned there on November 14 at the foreign minister level.
Participants in the meeting included Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, State Duma Speaker Sergei Naryshkin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Ivanov, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Head of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Foreign Intelligence Service Director Mikhail Fradkov and Deputy Security Council Secretary Rashid Nurgaliyev.
