Vladimir Putin met with permanent members of the Security Council to discuss the situation in Syria, particularly in connection with the recent decision to organise another temporary humanitarian ceasefire. The meeting participants also exchanged views on issues on the current socioeconomic domestic agenda.
Taking part in the meeting were State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin.
