Meeting with permanent members of the Security Council

Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council via videoconference.

Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, and Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin.

The discussion focused on the upcoming Russian-Turkish talks at the highest level, as well as the developments in Nagorno-Karabakh. The urgent need to implement all provisions of the tripartite agreement was stressed.

The socioeconomic development of Russia was also touched upon.
