The development model for the Far East was first proposed in 2013. In the relatively short time since then, the authorities have adopted measures to facilitate the development of the Far East and created instruments to encourage investment there.
The participants agreed that at this point it is necessary to assess the results and discuss the implementation and effectiveness of decisions taken to enhance the competitiveness and business appeal of the Far East and to increase people’s wellbeing, as well as to prepare proposals on the further development of support mechanisms for the Far East.
The working group will discuss the main aspects of the draft report at its second meeting in July 2017.
