Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On holding a Celebratory Gun Salute in Moscow, Simferopol and Sevastopol.

Vladimir Putin signed Federal Constitutional Law On Admitting to the Russian Federation the Republic of Crimea and Establishing within the Russian Federation the New Constituent Entities of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Federal Importance Sevastopol, and Federal Law On Ratifying the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea on Admitting to the Russian Federation the Republic of Crimea and Establishing within the Russian Federation New Constituent Entities.

Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Recognising as Valid the Military Ranks and Education Documents of Russian Citizens Who Are Military Service Members in the Military Administrative Bodies and Military Formations of the Republic of Crimea, and their Documents on Performing Military Service.

The order was signed during a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu.

Pursuant to Article 84 (d) of the Constitution of Russia, Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma draft Federal Constitutional Law On the Accession of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation and the Creation of New Constituent Entities within the Russian Federation – the Republic of Crimea and the Federal City of Sevastopol.

In accordance with Article 84 (d) of the Russian Constitution and the Federal Law On International Treaties of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea on the Accession of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation and the Creation of New Constituent Entities within the Russian Federation, signed on March 18, 2014 in Moscow.

Vladimir Putin submitted a request to the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation on verifying the compliance of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea on the Accession of the Republic of Crimea to the Russian Federation and the Formation of New Federal Constituent Entities within Russia with the Constitution.

Vladimir Putin signed Order On Executing the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Crimea on the Admission of the Republic of Crimea into the Russian Federation and the Creation of New Constituent Entities within the Russian Federation.
