On the 79^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, as well as the people of Georgia and Moldova.

The President signed the Executive Order On Regulating the Entry to and the Exit from the Russian Federation for the citizens of Georgia.

While visiting the media centre in Sochi, Vladimir Putin answered Georgian journalists’ questions about the Georgian team’s participation in the 2014 Olympics and bilateral relations.

Vladimir Putin met with Catholicos Patriarch Ilia II of All Georgia, who was awarded the prize for outstanding services in strengthening the fraternal bonds between Orthodox peoples and Churches by the International Foundation for the Unity of Orthodox Peoples. 

The meetings will take place on January 23 in Moscow.
