Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to the Merchant Shipping Code of the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Protocol on amendments and addends to the Agreement on the Customs Union Commission.

Dmitry Medvedev submitted to the State Duma for ratification the Agreement on Appeals to the Eurasian Economic Community Court by Economic Entities with Disputes arising within the Customs Union and Particularities in Legal Proceedings Therein.

Dmitry Medvedev discussed bilateral cooperation with Hamid Karzai, in particular, Russia’s involvement in rebuilding Afghanistan’s economy.

The three presidents discussed the situation with the Iran’s nuclear programme and the need to maintain the nuclear weapons non-proliferation regime. Iran’s cooperation with the six-party group of international mediators, and making Tehran’s relations with the IAEA more transparent were among the issues discussed.

The summit’s agenda included regional security issues, combating drug trafficking, the situation in Afghanistan, and economic and humanitarian cooperation between the SCO member states. 

Dmitry Medvedev had talks with President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva, during which the two leaders discussed the current state of bilateral relations.

During the talks with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, the two leaders discussed the agenda for the meeting of heads of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Member States to be held on Wednesday, June 15, as well as the achievements of Kazakhstan's presidency in the organisation.

Dmitry Medvedev had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During his working trip to Uzbekistan, Dmitry Medvedev met with President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. The two leaders discussed the prospects of bilateral cooperation in trade, the economy and humanitarian sphere, as well as current regional issues.

Particular attention at the meeting was paid to trade and economic cooperation, ways to further develop the Partnership for Modernisation concept, and work on a new Russia-EU framework agreement.

The visit is at the invitation of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov.

Dmitry Medvedev sent the agreement on creating conditions on financial markets for free movement of capital to the State Duma for ratification.
