Dmitry Medvedev and Angela Merkel took part in the Petersburg Dialogue Russian-German Public Forum aimed to promote ties between Russian and German civil societies.

President Medvedev invited German businesses to take part in the modernisation of Russian companies.

Mr Medvedev will make a working visit to Finland (Naantali) on July 20–21, 2010.

Taking part in the summit in Crimea at initiative of President of Ukraine were President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergei Lebedev.

The meeting will take place at the Russian Federation Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dmitry Medvedev met at the Kremlin with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee Nong Duc Manh, who is in Moscow on an official visit at the Russian President’s invitation.
