Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Yaroslavl Region Governor Sergei Yastrebov.

Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order on Acting Governor for the Khabarovsk Territory.

Meeting participants discussed the development of Nizhny Tagil. Regional representatives also attended the meeting.

Vladimir Putin visited Ivolga Datsan in Buryatia and several timber companies in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Later the President chaired a meeting of the State Council Presidium on strengthening the timber sector.

Andrei Vorobyov reported to the President on the socioeconomic situation in the Moscow Region, measures to attract investment in the region’s economy and plans to improve the environment.

The meeting focused on the region's socioeconomic development. The Governor reported to the President on the sowing of spring crops, support for farmers during the spring sowing campaign, housing construction and the situation in the employment market.

Sverdlovsk Region Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev briefed Vladimir Putin on the region’s socioeconomic situation.

Vladimir Putin met with heads of the International Bureau of Exhibitions (Bureau International des Expositions — BIE), including with BIE Secretary General Vicente Loscertales and President of the BIE Executive Committee Steen Christensen.

On March 29, Vladimir Putin will take part in the first Russian Popular Front conference on Building Social Justice, which is held in Rostov-on-Don.
