Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Head of Buryatia Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn to discuss the region’s socioeconomic situation.

Mr Nagovitsyn reported to the President on the republic's socio-economic development, in particular, the implementation of the programme aimed at providing housing to young families and measures on reducing preschool waiting lists.

Vladimir Putin congratulated Vyacheslav Nagovitsyn on officially taking office as Head of the Republic of Buryatia.
