Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Governor of Perm Territory Viktor Basargin. Mr Basargin briefed the President on the region’s industrial output results for 2015 and implementation of various projects, including projects that are part of special investment contracts.

Mr Basargin briefed the President on the socioeconomic situation in Perm Territory.

In accordance with the Federal Law On the Police Force, the President issued executive orders on appointments to senior Interior Ministry posts.

The President of Russia submitted for consideration by the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Territory the candidacy of Oleg Chirkunov for the post of regional governor.

United Russia's party leadership submitted list of candidates to President Medvedev for the positions of heads of Moscow city, Perm Territory and Ivanovo Region.
