Vladimir Putin met with the world’s first female cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union, State Duma deputy Valentina Tereshkova in St Petersburg’s Constantine Palace.

A joint meeting of the State Council commissions on Economy and Finance and on Energy was held as part of the 26^th St Petersburg International Economic Forum. The participants discussed ways to create conditions for advanced growth of the Russian economy.

Vladimir Putin spoke at a meeting with members of the Federal Assembly’s Council of Legislators and congratulated them on Day of Russian Parliamentarism. By tradition, the meeting was held at the Tauride Palace.

The President took part, via videoconference, in a ceremony to open new pharmaceutical production facilities in Kaliningrad, Saransk and St Petersburg.

Vladimir Putin met with Great Patriotic War veterans, residents of besieged Leningrad and representatives of patriotic public associations at the State Memorial Museum of the Defence and Siege of Leningrad.

The head of state visited the Nevsky Pyatachok Memorial Military-Historical Complex in the Leningrad Region, where he laid flowers at the Landmark Stone monument. Later the President took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Motherland monument at the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery.

The President of Russia met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on the sidelines of the informal summit of the CIS heads of state.

Vladimir Putin and the leaders of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, who are taking part in the informal CIS meeting, visited the Russian Museum.

Vladimir Putin and President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko had a meeting on the sidelines of the informal CIS summit.

The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library in St Petersburg hosted an informal meeting of the heads of state of members of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office, Chairman of the Presidium of the Council for Interethnic Relations Magomedsalam Magomedov took part in the ceremony marking the 120^th anniversary of the Russian Ethnographic Museum, where he read out the President’s greetings and presented the winners of the Presidential Prize for Strengthening the Unity of the Russian Nation.

The President addressed the participants and guests of the concert, Leningrad Symphony on the Banks of the Neva, which took place on the Spit of Vasilievsky Island in St Petersburg. The legendary work was performed by the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra conducted by Yury Bashmet.

On Russia’s Navy Day the Supreme Commander-in-Chief reviewed the Main Naval Parade held in St Petersburg and Kronstadt.

Vladimir Putin will review the Main Naval Parade in St Petersburg and Kronstadt on Russia’s Navy Day, celebrated on July 31. 

The President signed the Executive Order On Holding the Main Naval Parade in 2022.
