Vladimir Putin chaired the 36^th meeting of the Russian Victory Organising Committee at the Grand Kremlin Palace. Great Patriotic War veterans and heads of veteran and youth public organisations also took part in the meeting.

Prior to the Union State Supreme State Council meeting Vladimir Putin met with the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, who is in Moscow on a working visit. The discussion covered pressing issues of bilateral cooperation and the development of integration.

Mr Sobyanin briefed Vladimir Putin on Moscow’s development trends and the preliminary results for 2014.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Energy Minister Alexander Novak. The Minister briefed the President on the sector’s performance in 2014 and the main tasks ahead, and gave a preliminary report on the latest autumn-winter season and its results.

Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, who reported on the Committee’s work in 2014 and outlined several proposals aimed at improving the Law on the Investigative Committee.

Vladimir Putin met with President of the Senate of France Gerard Larcher at his Novo-Ogaryovo residence outside Moscow.
