Vladimir Putin met with permanent members of the Security Council.
The participants continued an exchange of views on the situation in Syria, and in this context also exchanged views on the current state and development prospects of Russian-US relations.
Also discussed were current issues on the domestic social and economic agenda.
Taking part in the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko, Speaker of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Secretary of the Security Council Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, and Special Presidential Representative for Nature Protection the Environment and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
