Vladimir Putin held a meeting with permanent members of the Security Council.
The meeting participants focused on the preparations for the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council summit that will take place in Nur-Sultan next week as well as the President’s planned bilateral meetings on its sidelines.
The issues Vladimir Putin discussed in his telephone conversation with Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel and President of France Emmanuel Macron were also touched on.
In addition, a number of current issues on the domestic agenda were discussed.
Attending the meeting were Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Anton Vaino, Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergei Naryshkin, and Special Presidential Representative for Environmental Protection, Ecology and Transport Sergei Ivanov.
