Aide to the President, State Council Secretary Igor Levitin and Chelyabinsk Region Governor, Chair of the State Council Commission on Economy and Finance Alexei Teksler co-chaired a meeting of the Commission.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Republic of Tuva Vladislav Khovalyg, Head of the Republic of Mari El Yury Zaitsev, Head of the Chuvash Republic Oleg Nikolayev, Arkhangelsk Region Governor Alexander Tsybulsky, Tomsk Region Governor Vladimir Mazur, Ryazan Region Governor Pavel Malkov, Omsk Region Governor Vitaly Khotsenko, Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, First Deputy Finance Minister Leonid Gornin, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Vasily Osmakov, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on the Budget and Financial Markets Anatoly Artamonov, Chair of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes Andrei Makarov, Accounts Chamber auditor Dmitry Zaitsev, representatives of relevant federal and regional executive bodies.
The agenda included drafting of national and federal projects to achieve national development goals of the Russian Federation through 2030 with an outlook for 2036 and forming approaches to their financing.
In his opening remarks Igor Levitin noted that the Commission on Economy and Finance must analyse proposals from all regions regarding parameters of new national projects so that coordinated decisions on funding mechanisms for these projects are made before the start of the next budget cycle.
Chair of the Commission Alexei Teksler reported on proposals from constituent entities of the Russian Federation concerning new national projects, Improving Labour Efficiency and International Cooperation and Export. The meeting participants discussed issues of drafting these projects.
Following the discussion, the Commission will prepare materials for a joint meeting of the State Council and the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects.
