While on a working trip to Vladivostok, Vladimir Putin visited the skills centre at Concern Morinformsystem-Agat JSC, at the Far East Federal University, where he looked at new transport and robotics technology.

Vladimir Putin gave the command via video linkup to launch the last of the ten turbines at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Station that was damaged in an accident in 2009. The ceremony marked the completion of repair work and the station’s renewed operation at design capacity.

On the final day of his working trip to the Far Eastern Federal District, Sergei Ivanov visited Vladivostok.

Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Relief Measures Following Large-Scale Flooding in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), Primorye and Khabarovsk Territories, Amur and Magadan Regions and the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Vladimir Putin visited Ocean national children’s centre, as well as a hockey and sports complex under construction, and the Opera and Ballet Theatre.
