Dmitry Medvedev held a videoconference with residents of several regions throughout the country, as well as with governors and federal agencies. Following the videoconference, the President issued a series of instructions on social issues.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law introducing amendments to Federal Law On State Regulation of the Organisation and Conduct of Gambling Activities and on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.

Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting in Taganrog on the stabilisation of the domestic grain market. Measures to address the consequences of the drought, support for agricultural producers and food prices were also discussed.

The President was presented with a list of candidates for the posts of governor in the Orenburg and Rostov Regions.
