Vladimir Putin approved a list of Presidential instructions concerning flood relief efforts in certain constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Head of the Republic of Kalmykia Batu Khasikov. The discussion focused on the region’s economic indicators and tools to promote growth in industry and agriculture, as well as on healthcare issues.

During the working meeting, Head of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Kazbek Kokov briefed the President on the region’s socioeconomic development and the implementation of major investment projects.

On May 15–16, 2024, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Altai Territory and the Republic of Altai. On April 18–19, 2024, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working trip to the Donetsk People’s Republic, the Lugansk People’s Republic and the Zaporozhye Region. One of the main goals of her trip was to help the new regions build an effective system of preventing social orphanhood and to support the families in a difficult situation.
