A joint meeting of the State Council commissions on Economy and Finance and on Energy was held as part of the 26^th St Petersburg International Economic Forum. The participants discussed ways to create conditions for advanced growth of the Russian economy.

On March 29–30, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova made a working visit to the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics.

On February 2–6, the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights made a working visit to the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol to help establish a system to help children and to provide targeted assistance to children’s social facilities and families with children.

On August 4–6, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova visited the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics.

On July 12–14, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova visited the Donetsk People’s Republic. She met with the Head of the Republic, held a number of events as part of the Into the Hands of Children campaign, handed humanitarian relief over to medical institutions and to individual families, and brought children to Russia for rehabilitation and placement with families.

On April 6–7, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova visited the Donetsk (DPR) and Lugansk (LPR) people’s republics. She discussed issues pertaining to children’s aid with the republics’ heads and delivered humanitarian cargo to medical institutions in Donbass and to a border distribution centre near Mariupol as part of the Into Children’s Hands campaign.
