Dmitry Medvedev was presented with the names of candidates for the posts of head of Buryatia, Stavropol and Perm territories, and Leningrad and Yaroslavl regions.

The President gave his instructions during a telephone conversation with President of Daghestan Magomedsalam Magomedov. Mr Magomedov briefed President Medvedev on the situation in the republic.
