Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting with the leadership of the Armed Forces in a Space Forces military unit.

Dmitry Medvedev answered the questions from media representatives in the Central Federal District.

At the meeting Mr Medvedev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko examined various aspects of foreign policy, military technical, and trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Belarus, including cooperation in the nuclear energy sector. They also discussed the Union State’s budget for 2012 and the 2012–2015 Social Development Concept.

Dmitry Medvedev answered journalists' questions on various aspects of the socioeconomic situation in Russia.

Dmitry Medvedev met with senior officials and investigators from the Interior Ministry, Prosecutor General’s Office, Investigative Committee, and with civil society representatives.

During a visit to North Ossetia-Alania, Dmitry Medvedev visited the 58^th Army headquarters and discussed the Armed Forces’ modernisation at a meeting with officers. 

In Bashkortostan, Dmitry Medvedev met with media representatives of the Volga Federal District.

Measures to prevent the spread of radical and extremist ideology, the elimination of religious illiteracy, as well as issues topical for Muslim communities were discussed.

Dmitry Medvedev, Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Alexander Lukashenko discussed integration in the Eurasian region and signed a number of joint agreements.

Dmitry Medvedev met with President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to discuss bilateral cooperation and cooperation within the Common Economic Space.

The President presented state decorations to eleven television professionals for their outstanding contribution to the development of television broadcasting in Russia and many years of successful work.

In Yakutia, Dmitry Medvedev took part in an official opening ceremony of the Berkalit-Tommot-Nizhny Bestyakh railway.

The President of Russia answered questions from summit participants, including about Russia's accession to the WTO, the prospects for economic cooperation with Japan, increasing deliveries of Russian gas to China, and measures to stabilise the situation in the eurozone.

Talks between Dmitry Medvedev and US President Barack Obama were held on the sidelines of the APEC summit in Honolulu.

Dmitry Medvedev met with journalists from the Far East and Siberian federal districts in the first of a series of meetings the President will hold with regional mass media over the coming month.
