The Moscow Mayor briefed the President on the socioeconomic situation in Moscow. In particular, the President discussed with the Moscow Mayor the development prospects for the city’s transport infrastructure, measures to support small and medium-size enterprises, research institutions and high-technology companies in Moscow.

The President signed the Federal Law On Amending the Federal Law On the Basic Principles of Tourism Business in the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation Code of Administrative Offences to Improve the Legal Regulation of Hotel Services and the Classification of Travel Industry Facilities.

While on a working trip to the Altai Territory, Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting of the State Presidium Council on measures to enhance the investment appeal of the health resort sector in Russia.

The President signed the Federal Law On Amendments to Russian Legislation to Improve the Legal Regulation of Relations Pertaining to the Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims and the Use of Foreign Vessels in the Internal Waters and the Territorial Sea of the Russian Federation.

Presidential Aide and Secretary of the State Council Igor Levitin chaired a meeting of the working group to prepare a State Council Presidium meeting on developing Russia’s inland waterways.
