In Samara, the President chaired a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports to discuss the advancement of children’s and youth sports.

The President held a meeting in Togliatti on the development of unmanned aircraft systems.

During his trip to the Samara Region, the President visited AvtoVAZ plant.

The Children’s Rights Commissioner met with Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, held a meeting with heads of child neglect prevention system agencies, and personally met with several families.

The President reviewed, via videoconference, the implementation of new investment projects in the industrial sector in Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, and Irkutsk regions, as well as the Krasnodar Territory.

The President held a meeting with Acting Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev.

During the working meeting, the President proposed that Vyacheslav Fedorishchev assume the post of Samara Region Governor.

Vladimir Putin held a working meeting with Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov. The discussion focused on the implementation of national projects in the region, the performance of AvtoVAZ and measures to support the participants in the special military operation and their families.
