The President’s working meeting with the Health Minister focused on the most pressing issues of the healthcare system, in part, the modernisation of primary care. The President and the Health Minister also discussed ways of making medical care more accessible and improving its quality in the new regions of the country.

On April 26–27, 2023, at the initiative of the Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights Maria Lvova-Belova, Kazan hosted the 20th Russian Congress of Commissioners for Children’s Rights in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, dedicated to protecting healthcare rights of minors. In addition, Maria Lvova-Belova took part in the opening of the Russian conference Dads Against Bullying.
