Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Russian Federation and the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism on the Terms and Conditions for its Secretariat’s Residency in the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Putin signed the Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement on Partnership Relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Chile.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the blasts in Makhachkala. Director of the Federal Security Service Alexander Bortnikov and Interior Minister Rashid Nurgaliyev then reported on the situation in Daghestan and the measures being taken to find and detain the terrorist attacks’ organisers, and to help the injured and the victims’ families.

The President gave his instructions during a telephone conversation with President of Daghestan Magomedsalam Magomedov. Mr Magomedov briefed President Medvedev on the situation in the republic.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Amendments to Article 22.1 of the Federal Law On State Registration of Legal Entities and Individual Entrepreneurs and Articles 331 and 351.1 of the Russian Federation Labour Code.

The second Nuclear Security Summit was held in Seoul, dedicated to national measures and international cooperation in strengthening nuclear security.
