Dmitry Medvedev welcomes the decision of the Tajikistani court to release Russian pilot Vladimir Sadovnichy.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Abkhazia on Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs.

Dmitry Medvedev and Rustem Khamitov discussed healthcare modernisation and measures to improve the demographic situation in Bashkortostan.

In Bashkortostan, Dmitry Medvedev met with media representatives of the Volga Federal District.

Measures to prevent the spread of radical and extremist ideology, the elimination of religious illiteracy, as well as issues topical for Muslim communities were discussed.

Dmitry Medvedev viewed the Internal Medicine and Surgery departments, including an operation theatre and an intensive care unit.
