Dmitry Medvedev sent a congratulatory telegram to Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia on the 35^th anniversary of his pontifical consecration.

Among the issues discussed was the socioeconomic situation in the region. In particular, the Governor briefed the President on the performance of the region’s agribusiness.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the United States of America on Transit of Weapons, Military Equipment, Military Assets and Personnel via Russian Federation Territory in Connection with Participation by Armed Forces of the United States of America in Efforts to Maintain Security, Stabilise and Rehabilitate the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting to discuss amendments to a number of fundamental provisions in the Russian Federation Civil Code.

Dmitry Medvedev signed Federal Law On Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Protection of Technology in Connection with Cooperation in the Peaceful Uses and Research of Outer Space and in Building and Operating Rockets and Rocket and Space Technology.
